This morning, our signature Champagne Welcome meeting is filled with fun ways to introduce you to your fellow travelers.
Then, begin your first full day in Morocco with one of the experiences that makes VIVE trips so special — stepping inside the home of a local family for traditional mint tea, pastries, and an authentic introduction to Moroccan culture and hospitality.
Rather than simply rushing between tourist attractions, this day is designed to help you connect with the heart of Morocco through meaningful local experiences from the very beginning.
Handicrafts + Jemaa el-Fna Square + Belly Dancers
Enjoy lunch with the group at one of Marrakech’s most stylish rooftop restaurants reserved especially for our VIVE travelers. This afternoon, support local artisans by participating in a handicraft activity that helps support the local community while learning about Morocco’s rich artistic traditions.
As evening falls, experience the legendary Jemaa el-Fna square, famous for its bustling street vendors, fresh fruit stands, musicians, and vibrant nightlife atmosphere. This morning, experience Marrakech in true VIVE style as we explore the city by private vintage sidecars — a stylish and upscale way to take in the sights that most travelers never experience. Atlas Mountains + Berber Village
After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll begin the day with a guided walking tour, weaving through the winding streets of Hoi An, making our way through local markets with fun cultural stops along the way that give you a deeper feel for the rhythm of daily life here.
From there, we shift into a completely different side of Vietnam—heading out into the peaceful countryside where lush rice terraces stretch as far as the eye can see. This is where things slow down, and you really start to feel connected to the local way of life.
June 1
Atlas Mountains + Wellness Escape
We’ll spend the afternoon out in the countryside, biking through lush rice fields, quiet villages, and scenes of everyday life that feel a world away.
From there, we’ll continue into the coconut groves and mangroves for a private experience in the traditional round basket boats the region is known for— the most fun way to get a feel for the real Vietnam!
Enjoy the evening back in town with plenty time for souvenir shopping, street food tasting and option to get a custom suit tailored to bring home.

Agafay Desert Glamping + White Party
Today offers a deeper look into a meaningful part of Vietnam’s history, experienced in a way that feels personal, and respectfully guided.
We’ll travel one hour outside of town to visit a network of Vietnam War tunnels, where you’ll gain a powerful understanding of this chapter in history through the perspective of a local villager who shares his personal stories with our group.
From there, we’ll step into everyday village life—learning a traditional craft alongside locals and gaining insight into the rhythms and routines that continue to shape this community today.
We’ll end the experience with a home-hosted lunch, sharing a meal with a local family and connecting over stories before returning back to our hotel in the afternoon..

All VIVE Trips are Adults Only. You must be 21 years old to register. We have had travelers from 21 to 81 on our trips! The average age is 35-65 years old.

VIVE Group Trips range from 10 – 20 travelers. This trip is expected to be a smaller group with an average of 12 travelers for an exclusive experience.

Late May and early June are considered one of the best times to visit Morocco, with warm sunny days, low humidity, and comfortable evenings. Travelers can generally expect daytime temperatures ranging from the mid 70s to high 80s °F depending on the region and time of day.
Marrakech will typically feel warmer during the daytime, while the Atlas Mountains and desert evenings can become significantly cooler, especially after sunset. We recommend packing light breathable clothing for daytime along with a light jacket or layer for evenings in the mountains and desert.
