Arrival Day in Vietnam
Welcome to beautiful Vietnam! You will be greeted by a member of our team with VIP Fast Track service to skip the immigration lines, and receive private assistance with the entry process and baggage claim. Our driver will take you in a private vehicle to the gorgeous InterContinental Hotel in DaNang.
Enjoy a luxury welcome at the hotel, ultra cozy bed and rest up for the adventure ahead.

Champagne Welcome + Monkey Sanctuary + Sunset Yoga
This morning, we begin with our signature Champagne Welcome meeting to introduce you to your fellow travelers.
Enjoy a private guided introduction to our stunning resort, set within a protected nature reserve on the Sơn Trà Peninsula. As we explore the lush jungle paths and coastal views, visit a sanctuary for the endangered red-shanked douc langur, extremely rare monkeys, that call this area home—offering a beautiful first glimpse into the natural side of Vietnam.
As the day winds down, we’ll gather for a sunset yoga session overlooking the ocean, followed by a 5-star welcome dinner to begin our journey together.

Resort Day, Spas + Curated Experiences
Begin with a relaxed morning to unwind from your travels, followed by the opportunity to explore a selection of thoughtfully curated experiences on property—from cultural and culinary offerings to wellness and light adventure.
You may choose to enjoy a Vietnamese cooking class, a guided eco hike, round of golf, tropical mocktail & wine tastings or a sound bath meditation. Then plenty time to relax by the beach or indulge in the luxury lagoon spa, including treatments that feel completely immersed in nature.
In the evening, we’ll come together for a casual cocktail hour, sharing stories from the day as the sun sets over the coast.

Journey to Hoi An
Today we make our way from the coast of Da Nang to the ancient town of Hoi An, also known as the Town of Lanterns. Travel comfortably by private SUVs instead of buses - VIVE Style.
After checking into our 5-star hotel, take time to relax and settle into this charming new setting before we head out for the evening.
Tonight, we’ll experience Hoi An in a way most travelers never do—with a craft cocktail experience created just for our group, visiting a series of hidden gems throughout the town. It’s the perfect way to get familiar with the streets, the energy, and the atmosphere of Hoi An. *Mocktails available for those that prefer no alcohol.
Dinner will be at a favorite spot Michelle and Nelson have returned to for years—a family-run restaurant with a story we love to share and food that never disappoints. The perfect introduction to the flavors of this region.

Rice Terraces + Morning Culture Tour
After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll begin the day with a guided walking tour, weaving through the winding streets of Hoi An, making our way through local markets with fun cultural stops along the way that give you a deeper feel for the rhythm of daily life here.
From there, we shift into a completely different side of Vietnam—heading out into the peaceful countryside where lush rice terraces stretch as far as the eye can see. This is where things slow down, and you really start to feel connected to the local way of life.
Basket Boats + Local Markets
We’ll spend the afternoon out in the countryside, biking through lush rice fields, quiet villages, and scenes of everyday life that feel a world away.
From there, we’ll continue into the coconut groves and mangroves for a private experience in the traditional round basket boats the region is known for— the most fun way to get a feel for the real Vietnam!
Enjoy the evening back in town with plenty time for souvenir shopping, street food tasting and option to get a custom suit tailored to bring home.

Vietnam War Tunnels + Local Connection
Today offers a deeper look into a meaningful part of Vietnam’s history, experienced in a way that feels personal, and respectfully guided.
We’ll travel one hour outside of town to visit a network of Vietnam War tunnels, where you’ll gain a powerful understanding of this chapter in history through the perspective of a local villager who shares his personal stories with our group.
From there, we’ll step into everyday village life—learning a traditional craft alongside locals and gaining insight into the rhythms and routines that continue to shape this community today.
We’ll end the experience with lunch in a local’s home, sharing a meal with the family and connecting over stories before returning back to our hotel in the afternoon.

February 26
Marble Mountain Experience
After breakfast at leisure, we’ll visit the Marble Mountains with our local guide.
The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five marble hills. Each mountain is named after one of the five elements in traditional Eastern philosophy: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.
Hidden within the mountains are natural caves that were transformed into Buddhist sanctuaries and temples, some dating back hundreds of years. During different periods of Vietnamese history, monks lived, meditated, and practiced within these caves.
During the Vietnam War, some of the caves were also used as field hospitals and shelters. One of the most fascinating features is Huyen Khong Cave, where sunlight streams through openings in the cavern ceilings.
Hoi An Street Food + Hidden Gems
After returning to the hotel in the late morning, there is time for shopping in Hoi An, wandering through its endless avenues of shops, art boutiques, and hidden corners that make this colorful town such a dream for discovery.
Try on traditional Vietnamese attire for both men and women, and capture photos throughout the quaint streets that feel like stepping into a storybook. Then stop at a family-run coffee shop for a taste of their famous coconut coffee that is truly out of this world.
Sample Vietnam’s iconic sandwich the Bánh mì done the right way at a spot most tourists don’t find on their own and the opportunity to walk in the foot steps of world renowned chef and storyteller Anthony Bourdain, who famously fell in love with Vietnam and its culture.
Shopping, Lantern Boats + Farewell Party
After exploring, we’ll gather to celebrate a special dinner with Michelle and Nelson—at a hidden gem we’ve loved for years, offering an elevated dining experience.
As the sun begins to set, we’ll close our journey with one of Vietnam’s most meaningful traditions—a lantern boat ride along the river, where we’ll release floating lanterns believed to carry out wishes, good fortune, and intention. A beautiful and memorable ending to our time together in Vietnam.

All VIVE Trips are Adults Only. You must be 21 years old to register. We have had travelers from 21 to 81 on our trips! The average age is 35-65 years old.

VIVE Group Trips range from 10 – 20 travelers. The Vietnam trip is expected to be a smaller group with an average of 10 to 12 travelers for an exclusive experience.
